COB 300 Business Plan
COB 300 is a 12-credit-hour core course that integrates finance, management, marketing and operations. Over the course of the semester, my team and I were tasked with producing weekly deliverables and composing a viable business plan. We came up with "ExtraEyes," an eye-tracking technology company that aims to reduce the rate of accidents caused by distracted driving. In order to achieve this goal, we "developed" a high-quality product which alerts and records distracted drivers to ensure the driver’s safety and prevent potential collisions.
This certificate requires the completion of a 7 hour video lecture course and a 60 question final exam, which you must pass with a minimum score of 80%. This course illustrated that Inbound Marketing is all about building lasting relationships with prospects by facilitating their specific needs throughout the buyer's journey. This methodology is implemented in three simple steps: Attract, Engage, and Delight.

This course taught me how to create an email marketing strategy that grows business through effective email targeting and implementation strategies. From contact management and segmentation to email deliverability and analyzing the data from your email campaigns, you’ll learn how to build an email marketing strategy that builds trust with your contacts.
